Our client develops and supports ground-breaking systems for customers within the hospitality and retail sectors. Due to increasing demand, they are now looking for a Systems Developer to join their team.

In this important role, you’ll have plenty of chances to broaden your existing knowledge, work on brand new technologies and contribute to our client’s future product development.

As a Systems Developer, you will design, develop and deploy a variety of EPoS software applications and products.

Working on both front end and back end solutions, you’ll collaborate with colleagues and customers to understand software development requirements.

You’ll estimate and design requirements based on user stories and build, implement and perform unit testing on sophisticated application functionality.

Additionally, you’ll release and maintain software deployments, as well as assisting the Technical Team with any customer support issues.

Interested? To be considered, you must have:

- At least three years’ software and/or systems development experience, including SQL Server and MySQL
- Full development lifecycle experience, including requirements, design, development and testing
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript and jQuery
- A good understanding of software architectural patterns and development best practice
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic web page design principles
- At a minimum, a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a computer science or IT related discipline

Analytical and meticulous, as a Systems Developer, you must have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. Superb organisational, time-management and prioritisation abilities are also key.
