IT Reporting Capability & Delivery Manager
Our client are currently sourcing an experienced IT Reporting Capability & Delivery Manager to come join them in their central Dublin office!
This is a fantastic role where the successful candidate will get the opportunity to deliver the Company's reporting needs by developing a highly structured process for the creation of reporting that brings the Company up to modern analytical standards.
The successful person will lead the process for selection of modern tools and develop and execute plans to roll these tools to all users.
Provide guidance to key functions to ensure that self-service reporting is achieved in key functions including People & Culturing, B&M, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Retail and Finance.
This role reports into the Central Systems & Business Intelligence Manager. AS part of this team you will work alongside other self motivated passionate professionals who have already assisted n the development of the Company's presence in the retail market.
Assess and prioritise the reporting needs for the Company and develop requirements to support the information needs of the business functions:
•Work with Stakeholders across the business to understanding future reporting needs and provide analysis to support decision making and prioritization
•Lead a team of reporting systems professional’s and partner suppliers in the efficient management of all reporting and analysis activities.
•Lead key stakeholders and teams through the change from reactive historical reporting into the new world of operational time, context and location sensitive analytics
•Promote a culture of enhanced performance through the use of data and analytics
•Provide recommendations for aligning strategies to support current and long-range business objectives;
•Support the planning, defining and validation of the Company's Information Management Strategy, principles, design criteria, roadmaps and approach;
•Guide application design, development and implementation in all functions across the Company.
•Support ICT & Procurement vendor management strategies with engagement in RFI’s, RFP’s and specifically in relation to the selection of new reporting and analytical delivery tools
•Oversee project and change governance processes;
•Manage and engage stakeholders at senior levels across the entire business;
•Provide input into vendor engagement, selection and management processes;
•Oversee the development and on-going management of internal stakeholder management processes.
•Manage cross functional teams including members from external vendors
Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
•Ten years or more of leading a change projects – preferably with emphasis on analytical and reporting applications.
•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Analytics required.
•Excellent project and programme management skills, including ability to handle multiple priorities
•Strong analytical skills and application knowledge
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
•Ability and confidence to question and challenge - ensuring they are continuously improving their processes and measuring the right data
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Up to date on large scale data analytics and reporting technologies, trends and practices across a variety of industries.
•Teradata/Tableau/Qlikview/Micsostrategy/SPSS/SAS knowledge desirable.
•Highly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by management.
•Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and team and work within agreed timescales.
•Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
•Proven ability in managing sensitive matters whilst ensuring all Company information remains confidential to the business.
•Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills, while demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and possess the ability to push back with professionalism.
