As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll build scripts to increase the coverage of our client’s regression testing and make the overall product testing process more efficient.
Specifically, you’ll create and modify automated test scripts based on manual test cases, functional requirements or existing functionality of the system.
Liaising with the Automation Lead, you’ll design and develop an automation framework that meets business needs relating to functionality, performance, scalability, security and reliability.
You’ll automate existing manual tests in C# using NUnit and Selenium WebDriver, as well as participating on a sprint team.
Additionally, you’ll maintain existing automated tests, ensuring compatibility with any newly developed platform features.
Interested? If so, you will need:
- At least three years’ automation development experience, including a minimum of one year’s experience of using Selenium Web Driver
- At a minimum, two years’ automation experience using C#
- Previous experience and knowledge of automation tools, technologies and best practices
- Experience with web application techniques
- Knowledge of web UI and browser based testing, including a strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- A strong understanding of web and browser technologies
- Intermediate SQL skills
- A degree (or equivalent) in a computer science or software engineering related discipline
Using your strong judgement and superb problem solving abilities, as a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll have a close attention to detail and a team player mentality. The ability to work across a number of teams with differing priorities is also key.
