Allen Recruitment are assisting a major International company in the process of setting up a Software Development and R&D Center in Dublin source a number of Java Application Developers with 12 months experience working within "Big Data".

This is a fantastic opportunity for intermediate level developers to work within leading International Company where you will gain training and commercial development experience working with Big Data tools i.e. Hadoop (Pig / Hive / MapReduce) etc.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Java/JEE (within an Agile/Scrum environment).
• Minimum of 12 months experience working with Big Data  tools (any flavour).
• Experience with Scala and Unix Scripting (and ideally Python).
• Experience in implementing Unix scripting is required.
