In Application Support, you will work within a team of four providing support to users of our client’s fresh produce ERP system.

Utilising the support portal to manage issues, you will investigate and resolve problems, manage the incoming case queue and seek to resolve cases quickly and effectively.

You’ll diagnose, analyse and reproduce issues to understand the root cause of problems, replicate, verify and fix system bugs and provide guidance and technical expertise to customers.

Updating customers of the progress of their resolution, you’ll document your actions and collaborate with the Development, Training and Testing functions regarding issue resolution.

As part of your role, you will be required to take part in an out-of-hours support service that operates on a 24/7 rota system one week a month.

Interested? If so, you must have:

- Experience with Programming Languages and reading code (SQL and VB.net ideally but others will be considered)
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport
- Knowledge of ERP systems or Warehousing solutions would be a big advantage but is not essential

Enthusiastic with plenty of initiative, as an Application Support professional, you’ll need strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with a logical, structured approach. An inquisitive mindset is key, as is a close attention to detail, integrity and excellent communication skills.
