We are currently seeking a focused and self-motivated individual to join the IT Brand Co team as a Business Relationship Manager for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, reporting to the Brand Co Head of IT Solutions.

Job purpose:

Responsible for defining and implementing the right IT strategy for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard

 

Responsible for managing the relationship with Irish Distillers key stakeholders and gaining legitimacy through ability to transform a business plan into a clear IT solutions Roadmap.

 

Key contributor to the European Brand Co’s  IT strategy and roadmap working closely with European Brand Co’s  members.

 

Main roles and responsibilities:

 

Business Roadmap and Demand:

Create a favourable relationship with the local CFOs / CODI members.

Understand Business Priorities and identify what IT solutions could accelerate results.

Share, recommend and promote existing / new Solutions that could represent a good opportunity for the business.

Refuse projects / requirements that do not bring value and communicate to the business accordingly.

Work closely with other Business Relationship Manager in order to detect new opportunities and synergies.

Apply the Demand Management process.

Involve different IT areas to evaluate and build high level proposals for big requirements.

Coordinate the building of the initial project documentation

Participate in the retrospective project analysis

 

Portfolio Management:

Apply the Portfolio Management process.

Lead portfolio review discussions.

Organize committees with the identified key stakeholders to prioritize the portfolio.

Organize and lead initial Capex discussions and its periodic revisions. In conjunction with Delivery areas and Technology team, govern Release Management cycle.

Ensure that the Organizational Change Management plan has been defined according project’s size and complexity.

Receive project feedback from the different Delivery Areas / Technology on a monthly basis.

 

Governance:

Create a communication framework (reports, dashboards, etc.) to be used with CFO / CODI members.

Depending on the size of the project, sit on the Steering group.

Produce a monthly report for each entity.

Discuss and apply governance rules.

Orchestrate IT audits with different IT areas.

Reporting to: Brand Co Head of IT Solutions

Team management: 0 people

Key internal stakeholders: CFO& CODI members, key business representatives

Key external stakeholders: Vendors

Budget to manage: Not applicable

Availability to travel: Frequently

 

Profile required:

 

Education:

Masters or equivalent in Computer Sciences

 

Experience / Background:

Strong Project Management skills

Must have significant IT Management Experience (projects, processes and people)

Ability to manage project budget > 1M€

Must have experience dealing with various levels within company

Demonstrated expertise in large scale IT environments

Proven track record of institutionalizing leading-practice methodologies and processes

Experience in various functional areas (e.g.: sales & marketing, strategic planning, operations, etc.)

 

Language required:

Fluent in written and spoken English
