Our client, a leading insurance provider based in Dublin have an excellent IT job opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join their Treasury Services Department. The business provides exposure to Derivative and Market products, Valuations, Accounting and System implementation and upgrades within a global corporate treasury environment. In this job, you will report to the Business Support Manager and you will be working as an Analyst within a dynamic project team.

Responsibilities Include
• Be involved and assist with implementation of system upgrades, enhancements and the
introduction of new systems within a controlled and fully auditable environment
• Supporting the present and future projects
• Understand and evaluate business requirements
• Define, analyse and document requirements and achieve business sign off of change
required
• Ensure full end to end testing (software & business user case) has been completed before
each release with business sign off achieved
• Logging issues on an issue tracking system
• Reporting issues to the developers and following it up to ensure that corrective action is
taken
• Maintain training material and documentation
• Provide technical support to business users
• Troubleshooting and providing fixes where required
• Understand Customers objectives, processes & products in order to make educated
recommendations and improvements
• Assisting with development of workflows, reports and extracts
• Programming experience is a big asset

Skills
• MIS or Business Degree
• 1-2 years’ Financial Services experience
• Self-motivated & Proactive
• Attention to detail
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Develop & maintain working relationships (Business, Group IT and Accounting)
• Excellent Team player
• Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and effectively prioritise work
