JAVA Developer (Cloud) - Donegal
Our client is looking for a Cloud Developer with and interest in or previous experience in cloud computing (preferably AWS). They are looking for experienced developers who can build the latest cloud automation software including Amazon AWS, Google GCP and Microsoft Azure. Any high level programmers (.Net, PHP , Python, C#, C++) candidates will also be considered for this role. This start-up is delivering cloud based software and professional services to multinational clients worldwide within a continually growing market. The role
Hands on developer who is looking for an opportunity to eventually lead a small team of multistack developers. Current project include development for automation systems, metrics systems and large scale photo and video processing.
Responsibilities
� Design & develop solutions primarily in Java with Spring, Bootstrap and AngularJS
� Design and develop cloud solutions for clients worldwide cloud across all major cloud providers
� Improve architecture and optimize performance of very complex cloud software systems
� Troubleshoot and resolve problems
� Engage in pair programming with a peer to not only develop but also execute on quality related tasks such as code reviews, unit tests, functional testing, automation of functional and performance test cases to ensure that the features are delivered to highest quality.
Skills & Experience
� 3+ years Java application development experience
� Strong experience in both the front-end web tier (JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and cross-browser development) and back end (Java, SQL, NodeJS ) software development
� Experience with web services development
� Experience building usable and scalable systems or applications
� Strong object oriented design skills and experience using design patterns
� Strong affinity to delivering features with high quality
� Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
� Ability to work on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines
� Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
� Knowledge of Agile development.
The candidate
An ideal candidate will be interested in solving a broad range of problems using a wide array of technologies. Candidates will require fluency in English as there will be significant exposure to clients from the outset. If you are applying from outside Ireland, you will need to be available for a face to face interview within 1 week.
� Candidates having .NET /PHP / C++ / Python Experience will also be considered
� You will need to be enthusiastic about learning and will need adapt to new technologies on a regular basis.
