Test Automation Engineer

Description

This is an excellent opportunity based in Limerick City for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join a new team within the R&D team in an exciting organisation who offer a fun and focused atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing test frameworks and writing automation that delivers fast and accurate results. We are looking for a team player and someone who wants to take on new responsibilities and grow within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

* Building frameworks and test environments
* Building scalable automated test solutions
* Investigating new technologies
* Training and mentoring peers around quality
* Coaching junior engineers on writing code with quality in mind

Experience/Skills:

* BSc in Computer Science or related discipline.
* 3 + years industry experience
* Mid-level expertise in automation with experience using an object oriented programming language - Ruby or Python
* Experience with tools such as Jenkins or CircleCi
* Experience working with test automation tools such as Selenium, PyUnit, Watir etc
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Comfortable working with a Unis based ops system
