Excellent opportunity for a Linux Systems Administrator - Data Centre - to join a specialist IT team based in Dublin's City Centre

What will you be doing as a Linux Systems Administrator?
Supporting a complex Linux hosting environment (see technical summary below)
Taking ownership for any assigned incidents, requests and other ticket types
Troubleshoot issues with ICT services in conjunction with Service Delivery colleagues
Coordinate the communications associated with critical tickets including Priority one and two incidents
Document issue resolution information and update relevant knowledge bases
Develop clear, concise requirements and create design documents where necessary
Automate current processes where possible using tools currently deployed within the organisation
Project Work - Work with vendors regarding new software enhancements / upgrades
What experience do you need to get this job?
2+ years Systems Administration experience with Linux Administration (RedHat preferred)
Relevant 3rd level degree
Experience working in a Cloud or hosted (SAAS) Software as a Service environment.
VMWare / Amazon AWS
Experience administrating Oracle and/or MySQL on a Linux platform
Experience with network management and reporting tools e.g. Icinga/Nagios
Ability to document detailed solutions and configurations for Operations.
Experience with Bash Scripting, Pearl or Ruby
Knowledge of ITIL
Technical Environment:
Puppet, Splunk, Hiera, Rundeck, Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Foreman, Tomcat, Apache, HAproxy, VRRP, Squid, Nagios, OSSEC, VMware & Amazon AWS,
