A rapidly expanding organization who’s unique culture inspires passion, innovation & creativeness & due to this expansion require a Software Development/ Engineering Manger to join their team in Dublin 4 (City Centre )
Key points .
� Initially managing a team of 6 developers with a view to growing the team to 10 (alongside a Designed and Product Manager )
� The ideal manager will have come from a product based company or have an excellent understanding of software as a product .
� You can come from many technical backgrounds ( Java , .Net , Python , Ruby , Scala etc. , but you must have experience working with web applications .
� A people passionate Manager – someone who really wants to develop the team to reach their full potential , a passion developing your people and innovation . (this is not a team lead or Project / Programme management role )
� Working within a specific division of the company (effectively a startup witching an established/ stable business with potential to grow revenue stream from 4% currently to over 30% in a few years , so excellent opportunity to take ownership over a growing and highly valued product / team .

Responsibilities:
� You will take responsibility of the development team from the CTO.
� You will be responsible for adopting and maturing best practices.
� Manage and improve our client’s software development process
� Be involved in the Hiring and Development of Future Team Members
� Act as a role model and mentor on software development methodologies, including software design, development, testing as well as resource allocation.
� Help build great teams
� Develop web-scale applications
� Contribute to architecture, design, and technical direction and also be hold your own in a technical discussion
Skills and Specifications
� Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline with honours or equivalent
� 5+ years Development Experience as Software Engineer/Software Specialist
� 2 + years Managerial Experience
� Web Experience for high traffic
� Agile/Scrum Methodologies
Advantageous Technical background(not essential) (the development tem are currently experienced with )
� Python/Django & AngularJS/REACT
� OO JavaScript and design patterns
� Experience of JavaScript testing framework such as Mocha/Chai
� Experience of Gulp / Grunt Task Runner
� Good knowledge of web standards
� Strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills
