Espion seeks an experienced Manager to lead the training sales team and drive business development within our Training Division
The successful candidate will be a resourceful, motivated professional with an aptitude for sales (ideally candidates should have 5 years sales experience gained in a target-driven training sales environment). This is predominately an office based position however there may be some travel involved for client presentations and off site meetings within Ireland and the UK.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Drive the Centre of Excellence in Information Security Training and Security Awareness Training
- Manage a training sales team to deliver outstanding results and sell technical training courses
- Integrate the training plan in line with BSI training
- Assist in growing training sales revenue through identifying and developing new customers
- Develop and manage relationships with partners and clients and capitalise potential to cross-sell certification courses in order to grow business
- Preparation and planning of training events e.g. courses, customer events
- Direct selling of B2B and B2C training courses and solutions
- Presenting training products to clients and vendors online, via e-mail, phone, or in person
- Understand the business and keep abreast of developments within it e.g. partner buying and decision making processes as well as continuously developing effective relationships with key contacts
- Participate in developing and implementing new work processes to enhance the technical training centre courses
- When necessary, order processing and other administrative activities
Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Third level qualification in business, marketing, communications, IT or closely relate discipline
- Experience in managing a training sales team
- Strong customer focused work ethic
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Confident in delivering presentations
- Organised, structured approach to work
- Autonomous and effective decision-making ability
- Proficient in all MS office applications - Excel, Outlook, Word
- Event management experience
- Confident & personable
- Entrepreneurial approach to developing / expanding the business
- Digital Marketing knowledge/interest
