Cloud Architect / Developer (Openstack) is required for a dynamic software company based in Athlone in Ireland. You would be working primarily on an outsourced project for one of the biggest IT companies in the world, and will suits someone who is interested in shaping the future of the evolving Networked Society. 

Overseas candidates are welcome and Interviews will be done by remote tools (Skype / Phone)

Responsibilities:

·         Driving the vision for Network Management and Orchestration in a virtualized WebScale Ecosystem.

·         Work with Product Management/ Senior Management and Customers to define and agree strategic direction

·         Work with feature teams in an Agile Development Environment to bring products to market

·         Work with the very latest technologies in the market

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant Software Development experience.
• Proficient in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, C++ or Erlang.   
• Experience deploying and managing Cloud environments based on Openstack and/or VMWare
• Experience designing and building applications for deployment in a Cloud/PaaS environment
• Ability to drive technical discussion, analyse technical problems and steer new product development.
