You will be a Senior Java Developer engaged in key development work within the company's primary R&D team as they evolve their product offering to leverage new technologies

In addition to developing the core product, developers are also required to aid in remote installation/maintenance of software data centre servers so good interpersonal skills and experience in a team environment is essential.

Minimum of 5 years' experience developing commercial Java J2EE applications

Required skills: 

• Java /J2EE Server side development Windows / Linux,
• EJB2 / EJB3 / JPA
• Basic Relational Database skills MySQL,
• Excellent problem solving skills and debugging ability

Desirable experience: 

• J2EE deployment JBoss App Server,
• REST API Design
• Web Development HTML5 / Javascript / Angular JS / jQuery
• Client side GUI development Swing,
• Experience with Jasper Reports/iReport,
• Knowledge of Linux
• Experience with Junit for unit testing,
• Version Control Systems - CVS & GIT,
• Knowledge of Eclipse or similar environment,
• Mysql or other RDBMS administration.
• XML/XSL development with Cocoon

Qualifications: Computer Science Degree
