 IT Service Delivery Manager | Permanent| Dublin

 A dynamic and fast paced organisation who are  currently expanding their operation in Ireland are looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join their team, on a permanent basis.

This role will suit applicants who have previous experience in IT Service Delivery Management, and who have extensive vendor /supplier  management experience. The ideal candidate will have strong service transitioning experience, be comfortable dealing with multiple challenging suppliers and have a solid technical background in IT. Experience with software licensing usage would also be very beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:



•Build and manage relationships between IT and the business units.

Manage Major Managed Service Partner (MSP's) on every level, and you will be responsible for optimising value and performance from the Service Partners. Looking after contracts of 3-5 million per annum.


•Ensure the agreement and operation of SLAs, with new and current suppliers.


•Responsible for managing the SLA's.


•Support and drive IT operations with improved performance and reduction of costs in mind.


•Communications and reporting to Senior Stakeholders on the on-going project progress and improvement or adjustments that can be made to create better productivity or reduction in cost.


•Manage and develop internal relationships.


•Participate in appropriate commercial negotiations


•Support budgetary management of IT Operational Expenditure (Opex).


•Dealing with high profile issues, ensuring root-case analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through, so that any learning applied will provide future benefit


•Development of relationships with Service Partners so they become partnerships.


•Involvement in or experience setting up a Change Advisory Board (CAB).


•Implement ITIL processes and procedures, for Incident Management, Change and Problem Management.


•Experience working in an out-sourcedd model would be highly beneficial.
