Enterprise People are currently seeking a Software Tester for a 6 Month Contract based in Dublin. Reporting to the Test Manager, the Software Tester will join the existing team who are responsible for all test activities related to our client’s internal financial systems, ensuring all deliverables and releases are according to original requirement and specification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Carry out a review of current applications
· Participate in pretesting phase by evaluating proposed technical solutions and requirements in order to identify potential problem areas
· Ensure that all deliverables comply with department standards
· Record the results of all test cases
· Track progress of test phase and report to the Project Manager with regular updates
· Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
· A 3rd Level Qualification
· 3+ Years Software Testing experience
· Financial Services experience
· Good documentation experience
· ISEB or some similar related qualification would be an advantage
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
