Our exclusive client, A massive telecoms provider in South Dublin is looking for a .NET contractor to work on a 6 month project for one of Ireland's biggest companies. You will join an excellent team of developers and architects under the guidance of the IT manager.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include the development and design of web and desktop applications based on .NET technology
- You will work with C# Programming and MVC architecture.
- Developing applications from detailed design specifications
- Develop automated unit tests and responsibility for testing own code before QA Test Phases begin.
Essential Skills/Experience
- The ideal candidate will have more than 4 years’ commercial experience, with strong knowledge of web front-end and back-end application development technologies including:
- Microsoft .NET Framework, LINQ, Entity Framework
- C#, ASP.NET, MVC
- JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap
- Webservices, RESTful, WCF, JSON, XML, XSLT, Web API
- Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle etc.)
- Team Foundation Server or equivalent source control system.
- Experience with performance monitoring software & application enhancement techniques
- Strong understanding of developing secure applications, compliant with OWASP guidelines.
