Network Engineer required for our Cork based Client. This is a fast paced, expanding company which offers huge scope for progression within the company. My Client develops a number of e-commerce web applications (sophisticated online sports betting platforms) delivering a high-performance system to users in Asia and Europe.

What will I be doing as a Network Engineer?
- Responsible for the infrastructure and product support for one or more product lines
- Be proactive in making sure the product is running efficiently and effectively
- Work with the development team to make sure one has total understanding of the product and also advise the development team on any issues or observations when the product is running on production
- As new features of the product are being developed you need to be involved in the design and looking at iterations as they are released so you learn how the product works, behaves and is configured.
What do I need to be a Network Engineer?
- CCNP qualified or JNCIS certifications
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere 6.0 Networking is advantageous
- Working knowledge of CISCO ASA, Juniper SRX and F5 LTM, ASM, APM
- Able to understand contents of TCPDUMP and other diagnostic tools
- Must have strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks
