A leading global management consulting firm that combines deep industry knowledge with specialized expertise in strategy, operations, risk management, and organization transformation are seeking full stack developers for their internal specialised development services division. This role will be dealing with internal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Knockout and node.js.
Required skills and Experience:
• Bachelors or (preferably) Master’s degree in a numerical discipline
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and high-performance JavaScript
• Strong server-side development skills (ideally noed.js)
• Accustomed to applying the principles of TDD and BDD within an Agile, continuous delivery
workflow
• Experience with enterprise-grade relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience developing with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases such as Hadoop, Cassandra
• Comfortable working with and developing coding standards, applies clean code and SOLID
principles
• Strong analysis, documentation, and communication skills
• A passion for staying on the cutting edge of software engineering tech
• Excellent command of English language (verbal and written)
• Comfortable working in a distributed team across time zones
• Willingness to travel occasionally
Preferred skills:
• Strong node.js developer
• Experience with modern web frameworks
• Strong UI/UX skills and an eye for good web design
• Analytics using Python
• Advanced SQL Server T-SQL development experience
• Experience with ETL processes and technologies
• Experience designing and building high-performance OLAP dimensional data stores
• Presence of GitHub, Stack Overflow, or similar sites (Please supply links if available)
• Experience leading a team of developers
