Paragon Systems, based in Kilkenny, are a leading supplier of Hospitality Software Solutions. Due to continued expansion we are currently seeking an IT Administrator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an Irish or UK commercial software support environment
Key requirements and skills:
· Administering Windows Server Environments including Active Directory, HyperV, MS SQL Server.
· Experience of Linux/Unix
· In depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking
· Setup & Testing of Software/Hardware firewalls & Routers
· Configuration of IPSEC/OpenVPN
· Network configuration and administration
· Knowledge of MS SQL/MySQL
· Experience working with SMTP/IMAP email providers, Google Apps preferably.
· Experience with Amazon EC2 virtual machines or other AWS services.
· Programming experience is a distinct advantage
· IT Project Management experience
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
The ideal candidate will be capable of administering the complete company IT requirements through the deployment of web based internal tools & services. The candidate will also be responsible for administering hosted consumer facing products via Amazon AWS and internally hosted solutions. Limited travel opportunities supporting the company's client list in both Ireland and UK Full clean Irish driving licence required.
