A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer to join our client, a pioneering provider of vehicle management systems.

In this key technical role, you will have the chance to help shape an innovative system that is transforming the fleet management sector.
As the Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing key components of our client’s enterprise scale system.
Collaborating with a team of Business Analysts, Graphic Designers and Developers, you’ll design and code new features and components that are intuitive and easy to use.
Taking a hands-on approach, you’ll identify innovative ways to further enhance existing features. Additionally, you’ll help to refactor and manage the company’s technical debt.
To be considered, you must have:
- At least five years’ software development experience and an understanding of all its aspects
- Extensive experience of C# development and .NET Frameworks 3.5, 4 or 4.5
- Experience of MS Visual Studio 2010 or 2012
- Previous experience of OO JavaScript, jQuery and JSON, with an emphasis on Ajax development
- A track record of working on large and/or enterprise scale solutions
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, including its frameworks
- An understanding of MS SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012
- The ability to comprehend complex business and technical scenarios and communicate this to an audience of developers, quality engineers and business analysts
