A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Android Developer to join our client, a pioneering provider of vehicle management systems.
If you are an imaginative android developer with outstanding Java skills, this is a superb opportunity to sink your teeth into a variety of exciting projects with a ground-breaking business.
As an Android Developer, you’ll be tasked with creating our client’s enterprise-class mobile applications. You will also help to create technical solutions to further enhance business processes.
In this exciting role, you’ll be encouraged to collaborate with others and experiment with emerging technologies, making this an excellent opportunity to add new skills to your repertoire.
Mentoring colleagues, you’ll share your software development knowledge and act as an advocate for development best practices.
Involving yourself with the entire development process, including analysis, testing and deployment, you’ll build innovative apps with intuitive user interfaces.
Additionally, you’ll strive to achieve customer satisfaction by translating their business requirements into fault-free solutions that are easy to use.
To be considered, you must have:
- At least three years’ Android experience
- Experience with or exposure to a wide variety of Android and third party APIs
- Previous experience gained within an Agile environment
- A track record of working with RESTful web services using XML and/or JSON data formats
- Experience of the full development lifecycle
- Extensive Java development skills
- A strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- Knowledge of build systems such as Maven or Gradle
- A strong focus on refactoring and code quality
- A third level qualification in computing, mathematics or science
As an Android Developer, you must have a team player mentality and excellent communication skills. Exceptional time-management and problem-solving abilities are also key.
