DATA SCIENTISTS

I am recruiting for a global brand in Dublin city centre. They are committed to expanding their data operations hub here in Ireland and are now looking to hire massively in this area.

According to their head of data analytics, they are looking for "career technologists" that would come from a development or data science background. They are not looking for people with basic SQL and Excel analysis.

The ideal candidate will be more focused on data science, modelling, predictive analysis, data quality, fraud analytics, cleansing, etc. They are using tools such as:

• Hadoop,
• Cassandra,
• Informatica,
• Pentaho,
• Lavastorm
• and Rapidminer.

Some of the projects they are working on are virtualisation of data, data network mapping, fraud analysis and customer reference data analysis.

This hub is an extremely collaborative environment that encourages the exploration and experimentation of new tools.

This initiative is a large part of the company's global strategy and it is expected that even greater changes will take place in addition to the recruitment of this team over the coming year.

This adventure is open to people at all levels, from graduates of MSc/PhD programmes to seasoned veterans.
