Senior Software Developer – Excellent Opportunity Our Client is a leader in the world of Global Retailing. My client although established for some time has a start-up feel and are expanding. They are seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join their team in Dublin 15. Your job will be working as part of an agile development team. This will mean working with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and QA Engineers in our development teams. The ideal candidate will be interested in developing web-scale applications and possess knowledge of modern technology concepts, best practices and patterns. The company are 100% Irish owned and are expanding, they are hoping to double their IT team within 12 months, so although the company are well established, they still have that start-up feel. The successful candidate will be working with large international brands. The company are also in the process of putting a stock option in place. The role: You will have a huge impact on technology direction. We’re currently maturing our agile process, so if you have experience of working in a growing agile team, it would be helpful. You will be expected to participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, show and tells. You will also be expected to contribute to the architecture, design, and technical direction and to hold your own in a technical discussion. You should care about agile, continuous integration, continuous deployment, TDD, unit testing and system testing. Main technologies used are: .NET 4.5, MVC 5, Web API, SQL Server. In 2015 we’re moving to an Azure environment Essential Skills: � You must have a minimum of 5 years commercial experience in Software development. � Strong experience in .Net, C#, MVC, Web API and SQL Server � Excellent operational organization skills � Experience in innovation and creating new businesses/products/services/models is desirable � High level of initiative � Strong analytical skills (data driven, research driven) � Familiarity with agile technology development methodologies and tools.
