Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a first level technical support resource with experience. You will be working in a very busy managed service operational environment:

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers while providing excellent customer service skills
• Log and escalate faults with relevant contacts and systems
• Manage incidents through to resolution
• Use network monitoring tools to assess issues
• Manage the prioritisation of issues
• Resolve issues

Requirements / Experience

• 2+ years Telecoms support experience
• Experience of ISP or networking
• Knowledge of managed MPLS Network
• xDSL, Wireless, Fibre and 3G connectivity
• Knowledge of IP architecture, VOIP and support of PBX
• CCNA certification advantageous
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Clear communication skills with technical issues
• Analytical skills
