The company is a market leader in the sale and implementation of server and internet based transaction processing systems into the SME marketplace. They have structured plans to increase their market share part of which involves the recruitment of a Business Development Manager. This is a Business to Business sales role and will focus on meeting sales targets through sourcing, targeting and signing new business within the Dublin region. You will have proven experience of self generating leads but you will be supported by a strong network which will gather new business information on a daily basis. You will maintain a strong relationship with that network as part of your duties and responsibilities. The role involves sourcing new business through cold calling, referrals, lead generation, use of direct marketing tools and other methods. We would like to meet candidates with a minimum of two years successful Business to Business sales experience with strong new business development skills. Ideally candidates should come from an IT/ICT sales environment as they should be comfortable selling a Technical product. Backgrounds could include any or all of the following ERP, CRM, Point of Sale systems experience. You will be extremely sales driven, be comfortable delivering a reasonably technical sales pitch and have proven successful new business sales experience in a business to business marketplace.
