Vacancy for a Senior Business Analyst to join our client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, on a daily rate contract basis!

Our client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work in the Markets Transformation team on the UK FCA Consumer Duty regulation.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the Business Analysis of UK FCA Consumer Duty regulation for Markets.
* Liaise with Regulatory Legal to determine legal interpretation of regulation
* Carry out and facilitate the analysis and design of the solution to meet the regulatory requirements
* Determine impact and support documenting the project plan
* Document new or changes to existing policies and procedures where applicable
* Support with facilitating UAT where applicable
* Support programme manager with tracking implementation of any deliverables in the plan
* Attend industry calls to review the proposed changes and liaise within Citi Markets (Business, Legal, Compliance) to coordinate feedback to industry groups
* Ensure BAU process and controls are established
* Data analysis as required

Essential skills:

* Must have Business Analysis experience, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Investment Banking
* Proven track record of Business Analysis / project delivery within a Regulatory framework, from legal interpretation, business impact analysis, solution and handover to BAU
* Must have experience as a Business Analyst working with the Business (Business Managers, Front Office Trading & Sales), Legal and Compliance
* Experience in participating in industry advocacy forums
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office (Excel (data analysis), PowerPoint)
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
* Effective communicator (written and oral)
* Experience of MiFID II Investor Protection (in particular Product Governance) or FCA PROD rules
* Experience from either Investment Banking or buy-side
* Business Analysis/Prince2/Agile or equivalent qualification desirable
