Ergo are seeking an IT Manager / Head of IT for a permanent role with a market-leading client in Dublin city centre. As the successful IT Manager you will manage a small team of IT Engineers and be responsible for the delivery of efficient technical support and IT Project implementation.
Working at C-level you will direct and represent IT operations at Board meetings and will have exceptional stakeholder management experience working with Directors.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure / Office 365) and Professional Services is highly desirable.

What will you do?
* Mentor and lead the helpdesk team
* Delivery of strategically important IT projects
* Provide ongoing support to staff re hardware, software, network access, security
* Plan and manage purchasing of hardware and licenses
* Plan and manage upgrade of IT systems.
* Report on IT projects with clear objectives.
* Research and benchmark best practice of IT systems as appropriate in line with business strategy and goals
* Provide reports to relevant Senior Management on upgrades implemented, hardware and software in use etc
* Provide reports to the Finance Team on estimated costs of IT infrastructure improvements, licensing, equipment etc.
* Create documentation for the efficient management of ICT services
* Carry out (or supervise) in-office changes and upgrades
* Optimise software and equipment in line with business needs and strategy.
* Keep up to date with trends and developments in IT for professional services and share information with relevant stakeholders.
* Regularly present at management meetings to inform the business of ICT matters
You should have the following experience:
* 5+ years' in a similar role (IT Manager, Service Desk Manager, Senior Systems Engineer)
