Role Summary:
Client is building out its process automation capabilities, and expanding a US-based team to identify, configure, deploy and support bots and other solutions that can automate manual tasks, improve the client experience and allow their employees to focus on higher-value activities.
They are seeking an experienced RPA Blue Prism Developer. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team in delivering and supporting robotic process automations.
Main Accountabilities:
* Provide programming expertise in the analysis, design, and development of robotics automation applications
* Set up the Blue Prism/Pega Robotics development environment (software installation, installation of related technologies)
* Create and maintain the Solution Design Document (SDD) throughout the project lifecycle
* Ability to triage issues in Prod efficiently to enable faster resolution of warranty defects
* Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and design, code, test, debug and document programs
* Provide technical support to Process Analysts to ensure that project deliverables are met with high quality / low-defect build

Education, Experience & Technical Competencies
* A BA/BS degree preferably in Computer Science and 5+ years of IT experience
* At least 2-3 years of experience developing robotics automation solutions
* Hands-on knowledge in developing and scheduling Blue Prism / Pega RPA and RDA Attended, Unattended BOTS.
* Experience & certifications working with UI Path, Blue Prism or other larger vendor robotics automation vendor software platforms is required
* Knowledge of .Net / Visual Studio required
* Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, SQL highly desired
* Knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle, Web-services desired
* Agile Scrum certified
* Knowledge of Lean process improvement practices desired
* Experience within the insurance industry would be an asset
* Periodic travel may be required
* Some project work may be required outside of regular office hours to support critical time lines and deliverables, as well as collaboration with Sun Life teams in other regions
