My client is a Global Fintech company. Due to their continued success, they are rapidly expanding.
Overview of Role:
Reporting to the Director of Product Operations, the Head of the Cloud Business Office will have full ownership of the company’s Cloud Business Office.
A critical component of this role is active management of the AWS and Azure costs across all product lines, so this role requires an individual with high business acumen and strong attention to detail.
The right candidate will enjoy a fast pace and be excited by the challenges presented by the success of an Irish fintech company experiencing explosive, global growth.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead a global team of Cloud Administrators and Cloud Business Consultants.
• Ensure customers have a seamless client lifecycle experience.
• Build strong relationships across the business and work together to achieve streamlined processes for the entire client journey.
• Manage third party relationships e.g., AWS as required.
• Work closely with the Finance team to accurately report hosting costs against client revenue or internal budgets for all product lines.
• Actively manage and optimize the direct and indirect hosting costs for all product lines.
• Manage CBO services to internal and Customer SLAs.
• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure that client pricing is accurate from the outset and consistently using standard fair usage terms.
• Measure team efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure we are measuring the right things so that data drives future growth.
Requirements
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar position.
• Demonstrated business acumen is essential.
• Attention to detail is a critical skill for this role.
• Curiosity and passion for problem solving.
• Data driven mindset.
• Experience driving automation and process improvement.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong people management and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of cloud industry trends, including public, private & hybrid cloud platforms & technologies such as AWS is preferred but not essential.
