Description
The Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV)/Business Central (BC) Functional Consultant is responsible for working with retail Clients on Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC engagements including new system implementations, upgrades, and/or extensions of existing applications. Key to this role is the ability to scope out work, engage with clients and lead project resources in terms of quality delivery; all the while leveraging the latest Microsoft technologies have to offer.
Requirements * Work with customers to understand their business requirements and scope out application configuration, modifications, and custom development.
* Make functional recommendations for installation, modifications, and custom development for NAV/BCprojects.
* Functional design, implementation and testing of core Dynamics NAV/BC granules and add-ons.
* Support system implementation and drives user training.
* Lead applications and User Acceptance testing and support implementations through Go Live.
* Support customers post go-live.
* Utilize ERP implementation standards, processes and tools.
* Communicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within client organisation during Analysis, Implementation and Go Live Phases.
* Experience working in fast paced environment leveraging Agile methodologies.
* Works collaboratively with other functional and technical project team members to ensure successful & timely project delivery.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
Experience and Skills * 1+ years of working experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC standard applications.
* Experience with taking the complex and technical, and translating it to be clear and concise.
* Keep up to date on new technology, features and functionality released in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / BC applications and in accessory products from other vendors; e.g. LS Retail.
* Self-reliant team player.
* Multi-tasking and project management skills are important.
* Excellent communication skills (both in-person and remotely).
* Ability to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures and across time zones.
* Team player; you easily connect with people and support them to achieve the team goals.
* Excellent proficiency in the English language in speech and writing is a must.
