Job Title: Systems Administrator

Contract/ Permanent: Permanent

Location: Citywest, Dublin

Overview: Ergo are a managed services company which employs over 500 staff. We provide a managed service across the whole IT spectrum and we have over 200k end users and are Irelands largest Microsoft partner.

Ergo are seeking to recruit a Systems Administrator, for our client based in City West, Dublin. In this role the successful candidate will maintain the Head Office\Care centre IT environment and provides technical assistance to computer users across the company. On occasion you may need to visit one of their clients nationwide to provide additional IT duties and having your own Car would be advantageous. There eventually will be flexibility for a hybrid work from home scheme but this will be subject to completion of probation e.g., it will take a couple of months training to get up to speed on the role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Active Directory Administration
* Windows server Administration
* VMWare environment administration
* Citrix XenApp administration
* Administer an Office 365 environment
* PC admin tasks (software installs, updates) for Windows 10
* Maintain a Service Desk system.
* Analyse and resolve technical issues relating to a broad range of IT hardware and software applications.
* Support on the documentation of procedures and processes to support the IT Helpdesk
* Procure, install, and configure user PCs, Laptops, Software, Phones, Printers, and other devices as required
* Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory and prepare periodic helpdesk activity reports
* Participate in projects as required to facilitate improvements to business processes and/or infrastructure.

Skills & Experience Required:

* A minimum of 3-5 years IT Experience
* Previous experience in IT helpdesk including supervision of IT helpdesk ticketing system and liaising with 3rd party support
* End user support level experience and working knowledge of computer hardware, network printers, Windows operating systems, Citrix, Exchange Server\Office365
* Intermediate level experience on Active Directory-Users\Group
* Intermediate network experience which includes TCP/IP, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, Switches and Cabling
* Working experience of VMWare, Citrix, MS Office, Server hardware and operating systems
* Working experience of Mobile Device Management
* Working knowledge of Cloud technologies an advantage

Qualifications & Additional Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field Additional Requirements
* With company locations across Ireland, there will be some travel involved. The successful candidate will need to have their own transport and a full driving licence is required. Appropriate mileage will be paid.
* Microsoft and Cisco Certifications a distinct advantage.
