Senior Backend Lead Developer

I am working with a Galway based company who specialise in nutrition management. After recently expanding their backend team, they are now looking for a lead backend developer to join the team. The aim of the company is to ease collaboration between sports and consumers through their application as well as allowing members to interact.
The role is for a lead developer who has experience leading a team of at least 3 developers. The company use Laravel in the backend and modern JS frameworks (Vue, React) in the front. However, although full stack experience is beneficial - the role focuses on the backend. The company operate in a start-up environment - with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

What are they looking for?

* 5+ Years' experience with PHP
* Experience Laravel
* Experience and Knowledge with API creation and integration
* Experience working with OOP
* Experience in a team lead role
* Experience with AWS, RDS

Desirable:

* Experience with Python
* Relevant third level degree
* Interest in sports
* Frontend experience

Salary and Benefits:

* Pension
* Hybrid working
* 75-80k
