Role

• We now have an exciting opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Analyst in Belfast to contribute to ensuring that we are at the forefront of emerging technology while also ensuring the stability and security of our critical systems.  The ideal candidate is team-oriented and passionate about technology and customer service.
• You will coordinate technical assignments and work with project teams and business users to analyse business and technical infrastructure requirements and act as an escalation level for support issues from Windows Server Support Technicians.
• You will support and improve the MS Windows capability to ensure 24x7 availability for critical IT Services and identify, prioritize and resolve Windows incidents and problems.
• You will support with the design, development, testing and implementation of physical and virtual Windows server based infrastructure ) within defined time scales and be capable of making recommendations regarding IT work activities, applications and systems that have a group-wide impact. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, passionate about technology and customer service.

Requirements

• The candidate should have typically 3 or more years’ relevant experience with relevant Microsoft certifications and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and related technologies such as Active Directory and Group Policy administration. 
• You will have some experience of IaaS implementations and Windows Server migrations along with a good understanding of related software such as Exchange , IIS, SharePoint and SCOM.
• You will have the ability to support 24x7 Windows Server environments and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Knowledge of PowerShell, Commvault, SQL database management and SANs/storage technologies are an advantage.
