Senior Project Manager

The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for all schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables for a set of Ergo customers and/or internal projects. You will manage the customer relationship at a senior stakeholder level. In addition to day-to-day project delivery responsibility you will typically be managing more than one project manager delivering work.

You will monitor the project managers and the project teams to ensure goals and objectives are being kept. You will need knowledge of larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for risk, and resolving issues as they arise. You will maintain standards and monitor scope with project quality.

This role is office (or work-from-home as required) based and will work with SBU and Delivery Management to develop, execute and streamline new or existing processes that underpin this principle.

Key Role Responsibilities
* Managing Ergo customer relationships at a senior level where we have project delivery responsibility, in particular our larger or strategic customers
* Driving successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, through proactive management of dependencies, issues and risks of the constituent parts of the programme to achieve business objectives
* Managing all customer escalations across all project delivery workstreams
* Review project metrics, identifying potential problems and compliance issues, and resolving or escalating
* Reporting weekly on the health of the portfolio and calling out hot spots, issues, and projects needing attention
* Managing several Microsoft stack-based projects, including software development projects with several customers in parallel.
* Providing input to and overseeing strategic plan, monitoring, and adapting as needed.
* Creating and managing project plans.
* Maintaining project objectives.
* Monitoring production and quality to customer/stakeholder/sponsor standards.
* Identifying and resolving issues and risks.
* Reporting on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise.
* Implementing change practices.
* Managing resources to make sure schedule is on track.
* Portfolio management.
* Leading customer and internal meetings and setting expectations for project team.
* Maintaining budget.
* Reporting on projects and portfolio.

Education, Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably more than 15 years.
* PMP (or equivalent) certification required.
* You have a solid understanding of the Microsoft stack.
* You are a skilled communicator - you proactively and positively communicate with your peers and customers to support and inform.
* You have excellent attention to detail.
* You have proven leadership skills.
* You have strong experience in building and nurturing relationships with multiple stakeholders and customers at a senior or executive level.
* You flourish working in a constantly changing, but always- exciting environment.
* Creative skills are very welcome.
* You are calm & poised under pressure.
