Our client, a highly successful organisation who develop Digital and Software Solutions, require a Senior Java Developer to join their team. This role is an initial 6 month contract, expected to roll over to 12 months +.
My client are offering fully remote work as long as you are based in EU.
Responsibilities:
* Work across full development lifecycle
* Comply with requirements and specifications to write high quality code that is well designed, efficient and testable
* Prepare and produce releases of software components
Skillset Required:
* 7+ years experience Software Development experience
* Hands on experience in application design and development using Java EE platform
* Extensive knowledge of Relational Databases
* Hands on experience with Spring Framework
* Experience with web development in at least one web framework (JSF, Spring MVC, GWT) etc.
* Highly knowledgeable around Java and JEE Internals (ie. Memory management, Transaction management etc)
* DevOps experience (ie. CI/CD, Continuous Testing)
