Senior QA Automation Engineer is required for one of our leading e-commerce clients to join their agile team in Dublin. This is a fast-growing company that has created a platform that is globally recognised as being amongst the leaders in its field.
This role offers a hybrid work culture with 2 days onsite in a week.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate with various teams to continually improve and prioritise tasks to achieve long-term, scalable automation architecture.
- Maintain the automation framework (Selenium, Appium & or Cypress) to ensure their infrastructure is reliable, resilient, and extensible. This involves developing automated functional UI tests & API/Service level tests.
- Work closely with the development teams to identify test cases that can be automated for new feature releases and support scrum teams throughout the release cycle.
- Mentor other members of the QA team on best practices, processes and problem solving.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Experience with Selenium & Appium frameworks
- Working experience of Java, SQL, Git, Jenkins and Docker
- Experience using object-oriented design
- Experience working with API test tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
Desirable:
- Experience with Cypress or JavaScript
- Experience with AWS, Elasticsearch
- Experience with Linux command line
- Exposure to CSS, HTML, Python or PHP
- ISTQB or other software testing certifications
