Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced JavaScript developer who is highly skilled with Vue.js. You will be joining our Web development team to develop and enhance customer-facing Web Applications, where you will be responsible for following best practices to produce modular and maintainable code. You will work in an agile environment and will coordinate with other team members. The role offers an opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies in the exciting VR space and the successful candidate will have plenty of opportunities to grow as a developer and learn a lot.
Responsibilities
* Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js
* Building modular and reusable components and libraries
* Designing & writing quality, scalable & robust code with security and performance in mind.
* Working effectively as part of a team on major software releases
* Working in an agile development environment with daily stand-up meetings
* Delivering quality software on time ensuring all deliverables are met as per plans and specifications
* Deploying regular code releases to test environments and production
Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in a computer programming related course
* 2+ Years' experience with Front End Development
* Proficient with the Vue.js framework including components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
* Proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
* Familiarity with Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router
* Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass or Less
* Experience working with REST API's
* Understanding of MVC/MVVM patterns
* Experience testing JavaScript applications (Unit, E2E, UI)
* Knowledge of Git
* Excellent Teamwork ethic with the ability to work collaboratively with others (technical and non-technical).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desirable
* Experience with NuxtJS
* Previous working experience with a PHP / Laravel
* Experience with Typescript
