My client are going through an exciting Digital Transformation project and require a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on an initial 12 month contract. This contract is expected to roll on for a few years and is paying a highly lucrative rate!

The team are currently working remotely however will begin a Hybrid working model once restrictions ease (1-2 days onsite Fortnightly)

Responsibilities:

* Work with various stakeholders and other teams to ensure design, code and requirements meet high standards
* Work closely with technical leads and solution architects, as well as mentor and support junior members
* Contribute to IT strategy to ensure that goals are met

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent formal training
* 6+ years experience working as developer
* Extensive experience working with Java, Spring Framework and REST Services
* Knowledge around Microservices and API design principles
* Continuous build / Integration experience (Jenkins, BitBucket, Jenkins)
* Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS desired)
