Electronic Design Engineering Team Lead

I'm working closely with a leading supplier to the Semiconductor Industry as they plan to hire an Electronic Design Engineering Team Lead to their growing team in Limerick

My client has been based in Ireland for over 20 years and specifies in providing innovative solutions to close to 100 Semiconductor companies worldwide. This company has a rich tradition on retaining their best staff and training their graduates to the highest standard

They are seeking to hire a highly talented Electronic Design Engineer who hopes to advance their career within a highly successful company with a worldwide network of customers

What you will do:

* Develop new products from concept through to implementation
* Lead and support the Engineering team
* Co-develop project specifications in conjunction with the Engineering team
* New product introduction
* Recommend and implement assigned corrective/preventive actions plans
* Build positive relationships with customers

What you need:

* 5+ years' experience as an Electronic Design Engineer, ideally within a manufacturing environment
* A background in Digital & Analog Design
* Microcontroller and Firmware Development experience
* Knowledge in FPGA development
* Exposure to IoT and relcated communication protocols
* Experience leading a team is very desirable also
