Cloud Engineer - AWS/Kubernetes

My client are a very successful local organisation who work with some of the world's largest media companies. They have gone through a really exciting digital transformation in the last 3 years and they're looking for an experienced cloud engineer to help them take the next step.

The successful engineer will join as one of the important senior members of the department and get the chance to play a key role within the delivery team. Key requirements will include maintaining all the necessary services to improve the reliability of their customers, working alongside software devs to architect, and configure CI/CD pipelines, managing their AWS environment, and providing hands-on engineering support for containerized workloads.

Their environment has moved from a relatively low level of engineering to an innovative and high level of engineering in the last few years. They're trying to focus on innovating wherever possible and implementing cloud services and containers wherever they can.

Desired Technical Skills

* 3-5 years hands-on experience in DevOps or Software Engineering
* Extensive hands-on AWS experience
* Experience with Kubernetes and Openshift
* 2+ years of hands-on experience of tools like Docker, Ansible and Jenkins
* 3-5 years working in an Agile environment
* Experience working in a DevOps methodology linking together multiple teams
* CI/CD and IAC skills
