We're working on a number of projects for a successful pharmaceutical company, who are making significant IT and Business improvements. They are now looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to manage the multitude of internal IT projects. It is important the PM has experience on the first phase of a project – initiating a project.
This role is initially a 6 months' contract, with a view for further extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish effective project management methodology and propose best in class software solutions to support the same
- Stakeholder management
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor progress
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Develop, implement and track project performance goals
- Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders about issues, performance and proposals
- Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and alleviate risks.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in project management within the areas of software and/or IT using PM software.
- Experience managing a project from the initially first phases right through to implementation
- PMP / PRINCE2 certified
- Previous consulting experience, technical or business lead on projects and/or any prior leadership role is beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyse requirements to ensure scope is being met on projects
