itContracting are seeking applications for a Network Engineer, this is a permanent position located in Cork
Essential Criteria
- CCNA Qualification or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols, including Telnet, SSH, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, DHCP, and DNS.
- 2+ years’ experience in managing a medium sized LAN environment.
- 2+ years’ experience configuring Cisco catalyst switches (3650/4500/9k), vlans, trunking and port channelling, ACLs, 802.1x, port security and layer3 routing on these devices.
Desirable Criteria
- CCNP & CCSP Qualification
- Experience of configuring OSPF.
- Experience of maintaining and update network documentation, network drawings and plans.
- Experience of Cisco voice network support and administration (Call Manager, Unity Connections, Presence);
- Experience with Cisco wireless solutions.
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco VPN technology.
- Experience in the areas of Cisco Nexus 5k.
- Experience with Cisco ASA Firepower IDS and anti-malware.
- Experience configuring Cisco QoS.
- Experience with network security.
- Experience with enterprise wireless solutions.
- SolarWinds, Rancid, Cactai Experience.
- TACACS Authentication and Accounting.
Minimum Qualifications
- The minimum qualification for the above role will be an appropriate qualification of at least Level 8 under the NQAI Framework.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply.
