We are currently looking for a Deputy Service Desk Lead to join our team and work onsite with one of our clients based in Dublin City.
The role:
* Monitor daily workflow and workload of support team.
* Manage people or team related issues in consultation with Manager.
* Analyse performance of support activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.
* Manage the processing of incidents assigned to the On-site Support Team to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution.
* Collaborate with other IT functions to ensure efficient operation of the deskside computing environment.
* Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding problems.
* Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring service desk operations.
The Requirements:
* Relevant third level qualification in Business or IT advantageous but not essential
* 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong Knowledge of IT infrastructure, Networking and Microsoft application
* Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to excellence
