ICT Services is currently seeking for a SQL DBA to be based onsite with one of our clients in Belfast.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, upgrade and maintenance of high availability databases. Candidate should be proficient in SSAS & SSRS and should be capable in Developing and implementing database backup and recovery solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the DB during the load and performance tests
- Creating maintenance jobs and monitoring logs.
- Configure Master-Master, Master-Slave replication, and DR set-up
- Drive Operational efficiency topics.
- Work closely with Internal/External Stakeholders, Development Architects/Managers & developers, across locations and ensure timely delivery.
- Participate and contribute towards organization’s goals and objectives, collaborating with multiple teams and solutions
Requirements:
- SQL Always On 2016 & above Technology is a MUST
- MS SQL 2016, Azure Cloud Experience in Migrations and Operations, Linux and Windows Administration Basic Level, and Scripting
- Experience in installation and administration of MS SQL DB
- Excellent knowledge in ON Prem DB Migrations
- Experience on Script Creation and Deployment
- Experience in creating different backup and restoring from backup.
- Hands on experience in Upgrading MS SQL
- Excellent written and communication skills, Strong customer focus, highly motivated & Flexible.
