I have an exciting new role available with a rapidly growing software product company. They are small but well established and some of the biggest companies in the world use their product. They have big growth plans over the next few years and part of this will be to build a new QA team.

This will be the first dedicated QA role in the company, so it will involve working very closely with the development team. There will be a big focus on reviewing / improving the existing QA processes, practises etc but it will also involve a lot of hands-on testing. The development team already have automated testing in place, but this could also be reviewed and improved. The QA Engineer will work on both manual and automated testing, but there will be more of a focus on manual testing and process improvement with a lot of the automation being handled by the dev team. As the QA team grows this role could grow into a QA Lead role

This role will be mainly remote, but will require visits to the office in Dublin City Centre once or twice a month so candidates must be based in Ireland

Requirements

* Degree in Computer Science or similar field
* 3+ years experience in QA role
* Experience designing and implementing test cases
* Experience in an Agile environment
* Knowledge of test automation tools
* Experience with web-based cloud products
