Product Manager, EMEIA

Job Summary

As part of the Product Management team within the  Business Development Organisation, we are strengthening our team and we are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to support and drive initiatives both in EMEIA and APAC. You will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation and measurement of products, programs, and services that support an exceptional experience for our customers, resellers, and third parties. You possess strong analytical skills to understand trends in service and customer behaviour. You will drive project execution, drive growth, increase operational efficiency and leverage cross company functional areas.

Key Qualifications, skills

Ideally the candidate would have the following skillsets:

• 5+ years professional experience in product management or related discipline
• Project Management skills & experience required; PMP a plus
• Independence, resourcefulness and out-of-the-box thinking
• Business acumen
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, making decisions on limited information
• Proven ability to manage to deadlines, attention to detail
• Ability to identify potential challenges / roadblocks in advance and offer potential solutions, a pro-active approach
• Analytics experience
• Understanding our upstream and downstream systems
• Possess a moderate level of system and technical proficiency (e.g. SAP, Filemaker Pro etc)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Description

You will focus on innovating the product line through the development of new features and the creation of exceptional customer experiences. You will drive assessment and due diligence discussions and project manage launches.

You will be driving initiatives mostly n EMEIA but sometimes these have global reach. Flexibility required to suit EMEIA and occasional APAC/AMR working hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead product/project lifecycle including strategy, objectives, timelines, cost models, product definition and project plans.
• Own all aspects of new product development and launch in region (EMEIA & APAC); collaborate with internal partners to ensure that strategy is aligned with the goals, product marketing, finance and Operations.
• Utilize multiple methodologies to launch products and drive enhancements throughout the lifecycle. Performs Post Mortem.
• Develop regional product launch schedules to ensure NPI readiness.
• Own end to end product life cycle including concepts, innovation, launch & sustaining
• Build strong relationships to successfully influence and manage escalations.
• Manage project risk throughout the life of the product launch.
• Craft new business models as appropriate & manage risk assessment.
• Own process improvement and develop solutions that target root causes.
• Represent the business in formal business requirement writing
• Key partner working with IST and BPR through the design, development, testing, cutover and production phases

Education

Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3-5 years and a Master’s degree.
