Senior Systems Administrator (AWS)

This is a really interesting role with a long term client of ours who have shown consistently strong growth over the last number of years and have some hugely exciting plans for the near future. They are well known within the cyber security space and have built a multi-award winning product which is trusted by some of the biggest tech companies in the world.

The successful candidate will get the chance to join a hugely talented engineering team and be able to be the driving force behind a number of innovative greenfield projects. My client are now an established business, but they've still kept that vibrant start-up feel to how they work. If you're someone who likes to have a very narrow defined role, then this wouldn't be the right role for you. If you're someone who loves a challenge, wants to be deeply involved in technical decisions and have their own ideas taken on board, then this is the ideal role!

I'll be listing some technical requirements below, but what's equally important is the right attitude. Someone who is used to collaborating with multiple other teams but is also confident making their own decisions and running with projects themselves. This isn't a place where you'll be micromanaged or have your hand held all day, this is somewhere that talented engineers are given the freedom to do hugely exciting work.

Tech Experience:

* Extensive Linux (CentOS) server admin skills
* Some windows server (2012) knowledge
* Extensive AWS experience is essential
* Some hands on exposure to DevOps tools like k8s, terraform, ansible would be ideal.
* Exposure to LDAP, OpenVPN or Fortinet Firewalls would all be a big bonus
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
