Senior Support Engineer
I'm working in partnership with a multinational financial organisation who are building out a new global support and operations department here in Ireland. They will be hiring multiple positions over the next 12 months but to begin with they are looking for an experienced Support Engineer who will most likely progress into a team lead as the department expands.
This role requires someone with a broad skill-set who can show great flexibility within a fast paced and ever changing environment. If you're used to working in a very specific role with restricted duties, this probably won't be the right fit for you. But if you are someone coming from a high pressured fast moving organisation then you'll thrive in this new department.
Desired Technical Skills:
* Extensive experience supporting Citrix (VDA)
* Citrix Applications and Desktop Support
* Windows 10 support
* Active Directory
* Networking - TCP/IP
* Office 365
* Cisco Phone Support
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Strong communication and a track record of leading projects and mentoring junior engineers
* Experience supporting trading applications within financial services would be a huge bonus
This is a position that will potentially offer a pathway into team leadership. Engineers who can also show examples of their leadership and mentoring of more junior engineers will most likely have an advantage in this process.
