Scrum Master
My client is a market-leading payments technology company head quartered in the US. They are looking for a Scrum Master to join their team based to work on a green-field project. Visa Sponsorship offered for the successful candidate (if required).
During the COVID-19 Pandemic and for the foreseeable future all interviews will be conducted by Zoom / Virtually.

The Responsibilities:
• Serves as Scrum Master for one or two Scrum teams
• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies and provides coaching to further mature the teams (Daily Scrum, retrospectives, sprint planning, demonstrations, etc...)
• Ensures team maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery of business value
• Helps team pro-actively identify impediments, can recommends solutions, and in some cases is able to remove impediments themselves
• Represents team in daily or Scrum of Scrums (S2) meeting and clearly communicates team accomplishments, impediments, and downstream impacts.
• Coaches the team to improve collaboration and self-organization
• Demonstrates ability to balance data with other factors when making decisions
• Utilizes team feedback, analyses data, and reports on team quality, delivery rate, throughput, productivity, velocity, etc to identify areas of opportunity and improve team efficiency and delivery
• Ability to capture and recommend new data trends to help the teams mature
• Actively identifies points of success and failure within their team and communicates learnings to other teams
• Demonstrates ability to identify process inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and influence teams to change and get better
The Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
• Up to date CSM or PSM I certification
• 3-5 years working with Agile Software Development Teams
• 1-2 years working as a Scrum Master
• Strong understanding and enthusiasm for Agile
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Able to build strong interpersonal relationships the Scrum team and stakeholders
• Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote
Preferred Background:
• CSPO – Certified Scrum Product Owner
• PSM II or A-CSM certification
• Development background a huge plus
• Scaled frameworks such as LeSS
